The Bryan Adams baseball team is proud to announce the first annual Bryan Adams Alumni Game. The game will match former Bryan Adams players of all ages against this year's varsity in a friendly, 7-inning game. The game will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 7th at Cougar Field, followed by a cookout with burgers, hot dogs, and more, complements of the Bryan Adams Booster Club. We are asking for a $20 donation to the baseball program for anyone interested in playing in the game and enjoying a great meal. You are welcome to bring family and friends to watch the game for free. If you would like to attend the event but would rather not play in the game, we invite you to come watch the game and eat with us. Any donation you would like to make to our program would be greatly appreciated.
We have created this exciting event in order to connect former Bryan Adams baseball players of all ages with today's athletes, parents, and coaches. We will be handing out schedules for this season in hopes of seeing our great alumni at some of our games. This fundraiser will also provide much needed funds for our program. The district's current financial situation has caused our baseball budget to be drastically reduced, resulting in the district providing less equipment and requiring us to pay for items the district used to cover. More importantly, I want our athletes to see that they are a part of something bigger than themselves, and when they put on a Bryan Adams uniform they are representing not only their school, but all the players who have worn those uniforms before them. Bryan Adams has a long history of baseball excellence which we are striving to maintain. I want are kids to see the faces that built the tradition! Whether you are a recent graduate or attending 20 and 30-year reunions, we encourage you to come out and support Bryan Adams baseball.
